This expanded edition of his original 2016 book now includes Wisconsin and Iowa trout streams alongside updated Minnesota information, with profiles covering more than 300 trout waters.

Designed as a practical, on-the-water resource, the book features a durable spiral-bound format that lays flat for easy use while studying maps or adding notes in the margins. Spanning more than 200 full-color pages, this guide is organized into several major sections—including dedicated chapters for each state—to help anglers of all experience levels make the most of their time on the stream.

The opening section focuses on trout fishing resources, stream access, and how to legally reach public waters across Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Iowa. A second section is geared toward newer—or rusty—fly anglers, offering straightforward tactics and techniques to help bring more trout to net. The core of the book profiles individual trout streams in each state, complete with printed DNR map tie-ins and practical commentary. The final section provides additional guidance aimed at helping anglers maximize stream time and enjoy more productive days on the water.
